Dr. Brian Hummel, MD

Dr. Hummel is the Founder and Director of Clarity Executive Coaching & Consulting, specializing in leadership development, conflict resolution, and strategic management. With over 30 years of experience in healthcare and executive coaching, he helps individuals, teams, and organizations build strategic partnerships and navigate complex challenges.

Dr. Hummel's career as a cardiothoracic and vascular surgeon included roles at Watson Clinic, Gulf Coast Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeons, and Lee Health, where he was Director of the Structural Heart Program and Chief of Surgery at HealthPark Hospital. He also served as a consultant to HCA’s Graduate Medical Education program.

In addition to his medical career, Dr. Hummel has held leadership roles on various boards, including the Lee Health System Medical Executive Committee, Southwest Regional Medical Center Board, and as president of The Florida Society of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeons. He holds certifications in executive coaching, health and well-being, and positive psychology.

Dr. Hummel lives in South Florida with his wife, Kristin, and his dog, Ridley. He is a father of 5 children and grandfather of 8 grandchildren. Dr. Hummel is passionate about empowering professionals and organizations to reach their full potential through tailored coaching and strategic consulting.
